The curriculum consists of a mandatory core part and an elective part chosen from a catalogue. All courses are given by teaching staff who are recognized specialists and active researchers in their respective fields. After completing all course components the degree of M.Sc. in Electrical & Computer Engineering is obtained.
Important note: do not confuse ESY and EMECS! These are two different master's programs at TUK: ESY is TUK's regular master's program in Embedded Systems. It is run by the University of Kaiserslautern (TUK) with its partners in the Kaiserslautern Science Alliance. EMECS is a joint Erasmus Mundus master's program, “European Master in Embedded Computing Systems”. EMECS is coordinated by TUK and is offered together with partners in Norway and in the United Kingdom. Please visit the EMECS website for more information.
